PVT analysis of the Volve Oil field consists for four reports covering three wells. These reports cover Constant Mass Expansion, Differential Liberation, Separator tests and Compositions analysis. However, it is seen that none of the reports are complete in themselves

Setup VirtualBox, OPM-Flow Simulator and ResInsight to run the Volve Oilfield Model
OPM-Flow is an open source fully implicit, black oil reservoir simulator developed under the Open Porous Media Initiative. The simulator is based on a Linux workspace and requires the installation of a virtual-box in windows based machines. We’ll be using this simulator for our simulation and visualization of the Volve oilfield model.

SIMULATION MODEL RUNSPEC Section – Part 1/5
The Volve field simulation directory has ECLIPSE and CMG simulation software input files. In this article, we'll describe the first part of the ECLIPSE simulation model (VOLVE_2016_EXPAND.DATA) which includes an overview on the simulation run specifications [RUNSPEC] They build the Volve simulation Model on 680 x 400 total cells with runs distributed on a machine with 4 parallel cores. It simulates a black oil fluids model, starting from 31 Dec 2007, using the 6 production wells and 2 injection wells.
Core Description – Mineralogy and Petrology
Statoils Geological Laboratory performed whole rock X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Petrographic point count, and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis on cored intervals of the 15/9-19 SR Well. The analysis characterizes the mineralogy and petrography of these sandstone units and evaluates their controls on reservoir quality. ...
